Mw 7.4 New Britain Region, P.N.G.

On 5 May 2015 a major earthquake occurred at New Britain Region, P.N.G. The seismic event occurred at 01:44:05 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.4. Two strong earthquakes occurred in the same region on 30 April and 1 May. See the reports below.

An exceptional number of 7 planetary alignments occurred from the 1st to the 4th, some of which are highly critical, such as Venus-Mercury-Neptune on the 2nd and Mercury-Sun-Neptune on the 3rd. In addition, three WPG peaks occurred from the 2nd to the 4th.
