Mw 7.3 Nepal

On 12 May 2015 a major earthquake occurred in Nepal. The seismic event occurred at 07:05:19 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.3

While the earthquake is considered an aftershock of the Mw 7.8 earthquake two weeks earlier, lunar geometry was high with a geometry index 10 to 12 from the 8th to the 12th, converging with a WPG peak on the 9th.
