Mw 6.7 Pacific Antarctic Ridge
updated 29 May 2021 UTC

On 19 May 2015 a strong earthquake occurred at the Pacific Antarctic Ridge. The seismic event occurred at 15:25:21 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.7.

Two planetary alignments occurred from the 15th to the 19th in combination with high lunar geometry (geometry index 16). In addition, a WPG peak occurred later on the 17th. This geometry also caused the strong earthquake a day later in the Santa Cruz Islands Region. See the report above.
