Mw 6.6 Gulf of California
updated 30 May 2021 UTC

On 13 September 2015 a strong earthquake occurred in the Gulf of California. The seismic event occurred at 08:14:12 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.6.

A Jupiter-Venus-Neptune alignment on the 10th along with a WPG peak preceded the earthquake. Lunar geometry was particularly high on the 12th (geometry index 18) due to the Moon's alignment with both Jupiter and Neptune within three hours, indicating that Earth was very close to the Jupiter-Neptune electromagnetic resonance vector.
