Mw 7.0 Philippine Islands Region

On 21 January 2021 a major earthquake occurred in the Philippine Islands Region. The seismic event had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.0 and occurred at 12:23:04 UTC.

Two days earlier a warning was issued for a high 6 to 7 magnitude earthquake due to Earth's alignment with Mars and Uranus on the 20th while lunar geometry remained very high. See also the report above.
