Mw 6.7 Mindoro, Philippines

On 23 July 2021 a strong earthquake occurred in Mindoro, Philippines at a depth of 118 km. The seismic event occurred at 20:48:58 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.7.

The earthquake was preceded by two planetary alignments a day earlier, one of which involved Earth. On the 21st the Moon also made critical geometry with Saturn and Uranus. In general, the last week of July was considered critical because of critical geometry throughout the week.
