Mw 6.2 Jujuy, Argentina

On 13 September 2021 a strong earthquake occurred in Jujuy, Argentina at a depth of 171 km. The seismic event occurred at 05:18:11 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.2.

Critical geometry occurred on the 12th, which is marked by the VePG peak. As a result, stronger seismic activity was anticipated, most likely up to mid 6 magnitude. See also the Telegram post below.
