Mw 6.1 Sea of Japan

On 29 September 2021 a strong earthquake occurred in the Sea of Japan at a depth of 366 km. The seismic event occurred at 08:37:05 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.1.

Starting on the 27th Venus between Mars and Neptune caused some larger seismic activity with a strong earthquake in Crete, Greece. The earthquake deep under the Sea of Japan occurred at the lunar peak that also started on the 27th.
