Mw 6.2 Taiwan

On 24 October 2021 a strong earthquake occurred at Taiwan at a depth of 67 km. The seismic event occurred at 05:11:34 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.2.

The earthquake occurred about two-and-a-half days after the Moon aligned with Uranus. Because of the lunar geometry (LG), seismic activity up to low 6 magnitude was anticipated. See also the Telegram post below.
