Mw 6.5 New Ireland Region, P.N.G.

On 18 November 2021 a strong earthquake occurred in New Ireland Region, P.N.G. at a depth of 55 km. The seismic event occurred at 14:08:06 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.5.

On the 17th there was a convergence of two planetary alignments, followed by a lunar peak due to three lunar alignments the next day, most notably Moon-Earth-Mars.
