Mw 6.0 Mindanao, Philippines

On 20 April 2022 a strong earthquake occurred at Mindanao, Philippines at a depth of 26 km. The seismic event occurred at 21:57:43 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.0.

On the 18th Earth aligned with Mercury and Uranus. As a result some seismic increase was anticipated from the 18th to the 20th, largely due to the Moon's alignment with Uranus hours before the alignment was exact. Two strong earthquakes occurred on the 19th and one on the 20th. A stronger earthquake occurred early on the 21st due to the Mercury-Sun-Mars alignment on the 20th.
